Genome Launches New Website

What’s your favorite way to consume news? Are you a magazine junkie like me? Perhaps you still read the daily newspaper (bless your heart, as they say here in the South) or watch your favorite cable channel. Maybe, you spend time online each day, pouring over your favorite news sites.

If you’re passionate about genomics and a fan of print, it’s likely that you subscribe to our award-winning, quarterly magazine, Genome. Subscriptions to the magazine are still free so if you haven’t yet subscribed, what are you waiting for?

Since 2014, we’ve been delivering relevant, thought-provoking stories about the many ways our increased understanding of our own DNA is reshaping the future. We explore the promise and the peril of precision medicine and genomics in an editorial style well-suited for a lay audience. Our previous website housed those fabulous stories, giving readers an opportunity to share and comment on them, and carried a link to subscribe to the magazine — but not much beyond that.

That just changed.

Welcome to the new and improved, genomemag.com. Here you’ll find fresh, relevant daily content written by today’s leading science writers; entertaining podcasts hosted by Genome’s editor-in-chief, Misha Angrist; videos; our highly addictive and equally educational game, Genome Genius; and of course, the award-winning Genome articles you’ve come here to discuss and share.

No matter your preference, we aim to meet you where you are. So, take a look around and let us know what you think! Send your comments, suggestions, and story ideas to editor@genomemag.com.
